How to Set Up Product-Based Auto-Pilot
Turn your store's inventory into engaging, SEO-optimized blog posts. Product-Based Auto-Pilot lets the AI select items from your catalog and generate articles, reviews, and buying guides that support organic product discovery. This flow is ideal when you want content tied to real products, collections, merchandising priorities, and product-focused SEO intent.
Best for
Use Product-Led Auto-Pilot when you want the AI to generate articles about individual products, selected collections, or your wider catalog instead of broad brand topics.
What makes this flow different
The main difference is the Product mode in Content Preferences. That is where you tell the AI which products should drive the article ideas and article content.
Creating a New Auto-Pilot
Navigate to the Auto-Pilot tab in the left-hand menu.
Click the Setup Auto-Pilot button in the top right corner.
Step 1: Content Preferences (Product Mode)
This is where you tell the AI which products to focus on. Make sure you click the Product tab at the top of the settings block.
- All Products: The AI randomly selects products from your full catalog.
- Specific Collections: Limit generation to one or more collections you want to promote.
- Specific Products: Handpick the exact products that should be featured in future articles.
- Standard publishing settings: Set the language, target blog, posting time, daily posting limit, and posting schedule.
- Tone and length: Choose the tone of voice and article length that matches your brand.
Step 2: Visual Style
Enhance your product articles with AI-generated featured images.
- Toggle Automatically generate a main image for each article.
- Select the ideal image size and orientation for your blog layout.
- Choose an image style such as Realistic, Cinematic, or Vintage to complement your product photography.
- Click Next Step to finalize your setup.
Managing Your Product Auto-Pilots
Your new product-focused automation appears in the main Auto-Pilot list.
- Use the dashboard to check the Status of each rule.
- Use the action buttons on the right to pause, edit, or delete the automation at any time.
Tracking Scheduled Product Articles
Head over to the Articles tab in the main menu.
The top notification panel displays exactly when the next product-based article is scheduled to be generated and published.
